Bidya Sinha Saha Mim


Bidya Sinha Meem is a popular Bangladeshi film and TV actress and model. She came to notice when she participated in Lux Channel I Superstar 2007, a female beauty pageant in Bangladesh. She is known for her work in Podmo Patar Jol (2015), Tarakata (2014) and Amar Achhe Jol (2008).


Meem started her career in acting in 2007 after winning Lux Channel I Superstar. He starred in the Humayun Ahmed television drama Jol Torongo (2007) as a lead artist. After venturing into films, he played his breakthrough role in the Humayun Ahmed drama-film Amar Achhe Jol (2008), which was a major success among critics. Her next film Amar Pran Priya (with Shakib Khan) was a major commercial success, for which she earned a Best Actress nomination at the Meril Prothom Alo Awards.


In 2012, Mim returned to the silver screen with the film Jonakir Alo, directed by Khalid Mehmood Mithu. The film also stars Amon and Kalyan.


In 2014, he starred in Jugnu Ki Chamak. The film won several international awards, including Best Film at the 12th Asian Film Awards, and was the Bangladeshi entry for Best Foreign Language Film at the 87th Academy Awards.



Meem was born on 10 November 1992 in a Hindu family in Rajshahi, Bangladesh. His father Birendra Nath Saha is the Head of Social Welfare Department at Comilla Victoria College and his mother Chobi Saha is a homemaker. He has a younger sister named Proga Sinha Saha Momi.


Meem studied commerce for class IX and X and passed SSC from Comilla Board Durring. Then, he completed his HSC as a student Humanities group from Comilla Victoria College. He then attended the Bengali Department of South East University, where he earned a BA [Hons] in Bengali Literature.
